Today, sustainability means combining economic growth with the safeguarding of resources for future generations, and Profilati is committed to this mission.

First of all, the very product we process, aluminum, paves the way for the concept of circular economy—that is, the ability to recycle and renew existing materials and products infinitely. Aluminum is indeed defined as the metal of the future.

During 2023, we installed a rooftop PV system with a capacity of 1.162 MW, which will allow the production of approximately 1.21 GWh of energy/year, with around 1.00 GWh for self-consumption. The project benefited from the "FONDO ENERGIA" incentive provided for by ROP ERDF 2014/2020 – Axis 4 – Promotion of the low-carbon economy in the territories and the production system – Action 4.2.1, implemented via Regional Government Resolution of Emilia-Romagna No. 791/2016 Energy Sector.
